Singapore is close to my heart for some reason, been there a couple of times, I don't want to go into details. All I can say, it's one of the most awesome places I've been, truth is, you can memorize the places in just a span of 1 month and you can travel from end to end in a day. Most of their locals are pretty much same as Filipinos, nice and friendly. The Country is actually known for its cleanliness, well generally. As to the population, I guess Chinese dominates Singaporean. During my stay I mingled with different mixes -Chinese, Indian, Malay, Indonesian, Bangladesh, SG locals and of course Filipinos, diverse culture it is.
My very first time in Singapore was way back when I don't even look for budget fares, to cut it short, I landed in Changi Airport. That time I was by myself , pretending to be an independent woman. I had two phones with me and just right after the plane landed, both malfunctioned -poor me. Glad my seatmate in the plane was so nice to lend me his phone. In other words, I didn't have much photos.
Going back, my first impression of Changi Airport was like "Oh my is this an airport or a hotel"? It's fully carpeted, so clean and just amazing, "Why can't we have one just like this"?...The truth is I don't want to go out of the airport because it's just jawbreaker but then again I still had to find my way out, it's so big and 'cant find any exit signs.
My first cousin is actually a resident and was nice enough to have me at her home in Tampines, just 5 minutes away from the airport. I stayed for the night and the next day transferred to my accommodation which I rented for 350 Singapore Dollars, It was a clean and decent room. By the way, it's in Bukit Batok. I had memories in Bukit Batok but was not captured. I don't know it's like all my gadgets failed me.
Came my second time which I can say is the most memorable vacation I had. I was with my aunties, sisters of my mom. This time we landed at the Changi Budget Terminal, I can't say it's equally jawbreaking than the former. The latter is smaller but is equally clean. We took a taxi, an SUV for a taxi lol! We stayed at Marine Parade which is so accessible. The place is near the hawker, the shopping mall, the coast and a few minutes bus ride to Marina Bay and Suntec City. I had so many memories in Marine Parade...Until I transferred to Bedok near Bedok Reservoir and so I'm usually in Eunos or Ubi. What's good about the place is it's just 1 bus ride to Orchard. Since I stayed there for quite some time, I tried to find a Christian Church where I can worship during Sundays and found "Hope Christian Church" and "Bread of Life Christian Ministries" also known as Mosaic which is in Cineleisure. Glad I found those Churches, you can google it for the exact address.
Random Photos below, each has it's own story...maybe some other time I'll put in details. Hope you like it. Much ♥
